Michael Fish's NBC26 Wind Chill weather forecast

DANGEROUS cold the next few days. The dangerous cold continues today with blustery winds and temperatures barely making it above -10°. This means wind chills all day long will be in the -30 to -45° after some folks started the day with -50° or colder wind chills. There will also be blowing & drifting snow and salt is barely working with these cold temperatures. The dangerous cold continues tonight with lows possibly getting even colder than -20°. With the wind, it will once again start to feel like -35 to -50° Frostbite will be possible on exposed skin within minutes. We'll start off with dangerous cold and wind chills on Thursday with morning wind chills -35 to -50°, but the wind will lessen through the day as the temperature only climbs to -5° Friday won't be as bitterly cold with highs in the mid-teens. Shockingly, we go back up above freezing over the weekend, with some rain possible Sunday. We may even make it above 40 degrees that day!
