Winter Storm Watch issued for our northern counties Tuesday
Tuesday starts out dry for the morning commute but the clouds will be increasing as snow approaches from the west, this should be into our area by the noon hour. Snow becomes widespread throughout the afternoon with the potential for a transition over to freezing rain and sleet south of Milwaukee by the evening commute. Folks north of Milwaukee, in the Winter Storm Watch, will see all snow from this so expect 4-6" of a wetter, sticky snow there. Milwaukee will see 2-4" of snow with less than 2" where rain and freezing rain is expected closer to the Illinois border with high temperatures close to 32 degrees. As temperatures fall overnight everyone will see light snow again, tapering off by 6am Wednesday morning with decreasing clouds throughout the day and temperatures falling into the mid-20s.
