Sweet Great Dane accompanies me to her favorite hotel for a stay together after she passed away.

When my extremely exceptional Great Dane transitioned from her physical body last December 10th, I knew that nobody could have come even remotely close to loving me as much as she did. Our bond is so very strong, that even death could not keep us apart. She knew what I was thinking back in her physical body, and now that she has transitioned into her spiritual body, she is all-knowing and can go from one place to another just by thinking it and she can do so in a nano-second.

This is something I was curious about because I was able to see spiritual energy in the form of orbs back at home where she and I slept together. I needed a sign that it was her and that was the sign, because she was in the room we slept in but nowhere else in the house. I wanted to make it even more specific, so I bought some of her very favorite shortbread cookies from a bakery we used to frequent and I placed them in one of her dog food dishes.

I put the dog food dish in a different room, and for once, I saw orbs in that room around the dish! That prompted me to try to test out whether or not she would show herself in her very favorite hotel. I knew it is her favorite hotel because we have been to other hotels, but this one is the only hotel where upon arriving, she would push the top of her head into my upper back as if to say: "Hurry up, let's go, we cannot waste a moment!"

I would carry our bags and her leash would be looped around my wrist and she would make me run faster than I was even capable of running from the parking lot into the lobby where she would frisk the front desk staff for treats!

I checked in, got comfortable, took a bath and relaxed and later on ordered room service for dinner. I ate and did not even finish before I really wanted to try to see if there was any signs of my Great Dane joining me.

I turned on the video camera in my cell phone, and it seems I was not alone. My guess is she knew I was going to this hotel and she was thinking that it was not going to be without her!

The unprecedented depth and level of love and loyalty from a Great Dane cannot even be stopped by death, she will always find a way to come to me, and I am eternally grateful for that incredible love and devotion and in another sense, I am very humbled by it as well. I cannot thank her enough for the amazing examples of love and loyalty that she has taught me with, and I owe her more than I could ever hope to repay her.... but that will not stop me from trying.
