Beautiful Waterspout Filmed On Swiss Lake

This moment of a stunning waterspout elevates into the blue skies above a picturesque Swiss lake. The beautiful video taken by a local resident shows the huge spinning waterspout above Lake Zurich while others were also reported on lakes Constance and Zug. Waterspouts are a columnar vortex that occurs over a body of water, differentiating from tornadoes that take place over land. They are connected to a cumulus congestus cloud, a cumuliform cloud or a cumulonimbus cloud.
