NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

If you can't tell, a strong cold front moved through sending our temperatures tumbling. We also have the wind with us today with blustery conditions. Highs will struggle to make it into the low-20s with a few stray flurries. At least we'll see some breaks of sun. Tonight will still be blustery and chilly, but these temperatures are normal for this time of year with lows near 10. Thursday, especially in the afternoon, the wind will be dying down. Though it may seem cold for this time of year with highs in the low-20s, it's still not that bad for this time of year. A slow moving clipper moves through late Friday into Saturday morning. This could bring us some very light snow or flurries with highs in the low-30s. The brunt of a bigger system just misses us to our south. Sunday looks fine with highs in the low- to mid-30s. Although it will turn colder........no big shots of arctic air are in the forecast for the next 7-days. In fact.....above to much above normal temps return late this week right into next week as well.
