Police: Car crashes into living room, driver arrested
The driver of a car that crashed into a Manitowoc living room has been arrested, according to Manitowoc Police. Authorities got the call to the 900 block of Lawton Terrace Tuesday night at approximately 6 p.m., according to a news release. A car crashed into a home's living room, police said. Two of the home's occupants, who were in the living room, were not hurt, police said. Three of the car's occupants fled, while the driver, a 25-year-old Two Rivers man, was arrested and now faces charges including OWI and operating while suspended, police said. Police believe speed and drugs were factors in the crash, according to the news release. Police said they are asking for help identifying the three people who fled the scene.
