NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast

Wednesday was the 4th day this month with highs in the 40s.......one more is on the way & then some changes. The chance of a sprinkle continues tonight with lows in the mid-30s. Thursday, a system will be passing through with the chance of a light rain showers, possibly mixed with a little snow or sleet. Little to no accumulation is expected with highs will topping out around 40 again. A very light rain/snow/wintry mix is possible again on Thursday night but most of that should be out of here for most of the night. Friday looks be mostly cloudy and windy with highs in the mid-30s. Most of the weekend is looking dry with maybe a few flurries across the north on Sunday. Highs should be in the lower-30s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. White Christmas?? Yes & no.....it depends if you have an 1" or more of snow on the ground right now. One long range computer model is quiet through Christmas, but another has a system approaching on Christmas Day. Right after Christmas, there could be a more significant system with rain or snow. Too early to make the call.
