Gino Recchia NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast
High temperatures were back in the 40s today backing it the first weekend that we saw two days of 40s since the first weekend of November. The mild air is going away however because a cold front is moving through Wisconsin. No rain or snow is moving with it, just some cooler air. Tonight our low temperatures drop down into the lower 20s with a light breeze out of the northwest around 10 mph. The sunny skies are back with us tomorrow but they wont do as much justice, with temperatures warming into the lower 30s only. Winds will be out of the northwest around 5 to 10 mph. Even though it will be cooler, highs will still run about 5 degrees above normal. Warmer weather is on the way Tuesday with highs back in the upper 30s under mostly sunny skies. Clouds will be on the increase Wednesday ahead of our next storm system. We have a rain and snow mix that will arrive on Thursday. There will be a chance of a light snow accumulation overnight Thursday into Friday with some light flurries or a passing snow shower during the first have of the day Friday. The weekend is looking dry with highs in the lower 30s under mostly sunny skies.
