Beto O'Rourke gets emotional talking about dead 7-year-old migrant girl

Among the Democrats "exploiting" the girl's death is potential 2020 Democrat primary candidate Rep. Beto O'Rourke of Texas. In an emotional screed to MSNBC last week, he pushed back against the argument that the father shouldn't have dragged his daughter to the border.

"You do not travel 2,000 miles with your 7-year-old child for kicks or to take advantage of another country," he said. "You do it because you’re desperate. What would cause you to take your child and make that journey unless it was the only thing you could do to save your child’s life."
