Gino Recchia NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast

Visibility has greatly increased since this morning with some very dense fog that developed last night. Some filtered sunshine also passed through but most of the day remained mostly cloudy. We are situated in between two areas of low pressure. One in Northern Minnesota and another larger scale storm moving north from the Southern Plains. For the most part, we should dodge both of these systems, but there is a slim risk of a snow shower or wintry mix. With calming winds and a relatively saturated air-mass overhead, it does appear some fog will once again develop tonight. Skies will turn mostly sunny with highs back in the mid and upper 30s to start off the end of your work week. Temperatures continue to stay above average through the weekend with mid and upper 30s both Saturday and Sunday. A weak push of cooler air will drop temperatures down into the upper 20s and lower 30s to start the work week off but then we will climb back above freezing as we track ahead to the middle of the week.
