Unique holiday gift ideas at the History Museum

Mary Louise Stanley has an awesome job. She's in charge of picking out all the merchandise you'l find at the Buffalo History Museum. Mary Louise says "we have everything Buffalo here. we really love to support our local artists, our local artisans and our local jewelry people. Much of the "merch" here has a Buffalo-History theme. There are map ties that Mary Louise says "we took a map from our collection and turned it into a tie."  There are lots of local authors to discover here as well as the Buffalo connection to Fisher-Price, the Wizard of Oz and the now defunct Birge Wallpaper Company. "we've taken some of their wallpaper brands and put them into notebooks" Mary Louise says. To highlight the current "Icons" exhibit Mary Louise says "we partnered with New Era and they made a special hat for us."
