An Educational Series on Understanding Dementia
As we all age, our memories don't seem to be quite as sharp as they used to be. But how do you tell the difference between normal memory changes and something bigger, like dementia? Joining us to discuss a special series of events that answer that question, as well as how to handle a dementia diagnosis, and advancements in treatment are Dr. Piero Antuono, Director of Dementia Research at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Denise Jurecki from Azura Memory Care. For more information on Azura Memory Care, their locations, and their Dementia Series, visit AzuraMemory.com. And see below for dates of their Dementia Series: All events from 6pm to 7pm at Oak Creek Public Library, refreshments provided Thursday, November 29: "Normal vs. Abnormal Aging" Thursday, December 6: "Understanding a Dementia Diagnosis" Thursday, December 13: "Advances in Dementia"
