NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast
Today, we may have some breaks of sunshine with flurries, but with another very weak disturbance approaching, clouds will be back on the increase and the wind will be picking up. Later this afternoon, if you live to the northwest, you may start to see a few areas of light snow. Highs will struggle to make it to 30. That very weak disturbance will be passing tonight with a few snow showers or patchy freezing drizzle in the evening. Any snow accumulation should stay quite minor with overnight lows around 20. Wednesday is one of the busiest travel days of the year, and it looks like we'll be quiet and cold here in Wisconsin with highs only in the upper-20s. Wednesday night also looks quiet with mostly cloudy skies and lows only in the mid-teens. Thanksgiving is looking mainly dry, but still cool with highs in the low-30s. Black Friday, we'll be warming things up all the way into the mid-40s! A couple of systems will affect the area going into the weekend, The first for Friday and Saturday looks to be mainly rain, but that second one for Sunday and Monday, we may have to keep an eye on. Either way, it's too early to make the call on the Sunday system.
