Solar Lighted Wooden Hanging Flower Stand

In this video I make a solar lighted flower stand for a hanging basket, or whatever you would like to hang from it. I make a lot of Christmas gifts for my friends and family this was one I wanted to do and finally got around to do it. Beginners to woodworking can do this one. I used tools some won't have, but you can do it with a hand saw, drill, and sandpaper if that's all you have. You can use anything for a hanger

It was made exclusively from building grade white pine from a big box store. I used that because the lumber is readily available. I cut the rounded edge off, but that is a step you don't have to complete. I used the twisted railroad spike I made several months ago just for this project.

The solar lights screw onto any regular mouth canning jars. Dark blue urethane paint was my color this year and should last a long while. You can paint anything you want on the headers and can do both sides, I chose to do one side and the first initial of recipient's last name.

I made 5 in total. took about 20 or so hours to finish all of them. Drying paint slowed me down some.
