Pakistan in United Nations Security Council said that the attack on Jafar Express was carried out by BLA, which had handlers in Afghanistan. Without naming India, Pakistani representative in UNSC, Munir Akran blamed India for hatching the conspiracy. It says that it has got the evidence in hand. "Last week the BLA and Majeed Brigade launched an attack on a passanger train in Balochistan province of Pakistan; held hundreds of hostages on the train and killed 25 innocent people. 33 Terrorists were killed by Pakistani special forces in bold rescue operation". "Throughout the attack the terrorists were in direct contact with their handlers in Afhanistan from where the attack was planned and directed. We also have evidence that this attack was initiated and financed by our principle adversary (read India) using its proxies in Afghanistan", Pakistani ambassador to UN stressed while speaking on a resolution on UNAMA in Afghanistan. Pakistan supported the UN resolution. Pakistan however has habit of maligning India at various international forums. Pakistan project itself as victim to gain sympathies and international aid.
