Song: Swanwhite, the Narnin Queen
Lyrics: Aaron Weaver
Music: AI

Swanwhite was a character created by C. S. Lewis for his world of Narnia. Not much is known about her, so I thought I would invent a non-canon story about her and put it into music.
[verse1]
Hear about a history,
Told of an ancient queen.
Who's past is a mystery,
Such beauty has never been seen.
Some say she was a dryad,
Or a daughter of a star.
She came from an island,
Or another world afar.
[chorus]
Swanwhite it was told,
Was queen of Narnia old.
During years of her rule,
She looked upon forest pools.
Her reflection shown so bright,
Like a star on a dark night.
On the water it would stay,
For a year and a day.
[verse2]
Merchants, Princes and Kings,
Came from foreign lands.
Riches they would bring,
To win the queen's hand.
No wealth could buy her heart,
Their requests were all in vain,
She'd ask them to depart,
But her beauty drove them insane.
[chorus]
[verse3]
Yet one, she was pleased,
A giant who was quite plain.
He planted her toffee trees,
Along Narnia's terrain.
She asked him to be wed,
Giant thought he was unworthy,
Many a tear she did shed,
But the giant refused her plea.
[chorus]
Swanwhite it was told,
Was queen of Narnia old.
During years of her rule,
She looked upon forest pools.
Her reflection shown so bright,
Like a star on a dark night.
On the water it would stay,
For a year and a day.
Swan White it was told,
Was queen of Narnia old.
