Doug Talks About: The good, the bad and the ugly of cancer screening tests

Is it safe to only take ½ dose of prescribed antibiotics? We will discuss this and also one of the questions The National Cancer Institute (NCI) tells you to ask your doctor about cancer screenings. "Are there any risks to the tests", ask the NCI? I have little doubt that when done and interpreted properly, cancer screening tests have benefitted many people. But I have less doubt that cancer screening tests are not without associated damage because we aren’t told of inaccuracies before testing is done. You tell me, please. Have you ever wondered if your cancer screening test results were inaccurate or that you were overtreated based on the test result? Were you injured by a colonoscopy, pap, mammogram, or prostate cancer test?
Please know that the intent of Mondays (March 17th) live show from 2-3 PM Central Time, is not to dissuade you from cancer screening tests. Rather, my intent is to teach you what is published in the scientific literature about the negative aspects of cancer screenings. In my opinion, rarely will you here this extremely important information disclosed in a doctor’s office, yet you have every right to hear it…and you will. Take notes and feel comfortable raising these points with your own doctor when cancer screening tests are recommended - Doug
