Blight of the Wailing Souls

Dripping from the cracks in time,
Lies a voice that hums in grime,
Bones that creak like rotting doors,
Gnawing chants from ancient wars.

Maggots dance in hollow eyes,
Rotting tongues weave twisted lies,
Veils of dust on shattered skin,
Where the blight of souls begins.

Sing me down to the depths of doom,
Where shadows breed in the hollow gloom,
Cursed to wail in the earth's embrace,
Where sorrow gnaws at a withered face.

Roots entwine with marrow black,
Echoed cries that never crack,
Buried deep where worms infest,
Carving hymns into my chest.

Fingers break through earthen mold,
Grasping light that turns to mold,
Bleeding sins from years betrayed,
In the grave where fate decayed.

Sing me down to the depths of doom,
Where shadows breed in the hollow gloom,
Cursed to wail in the earth's embrace,
Where sorrow gnaws at a withered face.

Ashes coil like serpents' breath,
Twisting fate in songs of death,
Scarlet veins on ashen ground,
Doomed to haunt where pain is bound.

Nightmares claw through wooden veins,
Rot and rust where hope remains,
Raise your voice to cursed domain,
And rot with me through endless pain.
