Joel on TJ and Jack on Avi working the return alley at a roping competition - 17 July 2021

I purchased Avi about 5 weeks before this video was taken. In the video we are at a team roping competition which Joel competed in. Joel is on his (now sadly deceased) trusty steed, TJ, helping Avi get acclimated to working the return alley via having Avi shadow a horse that knows how (work along with - model - copy). At the beginning Avi was scared enough she thought that working cattle down the return alley was a very bad idea - she wanted to leave - but then took courage from TJ. By the end of the day she was fairly competent (for a beginner) working the return alley on her own.

I am profoundly grateful to the Lord that Joel was able to help in the beginning training of Avi whom I purchased as a green broke 7yr old mare. The timing of her purchase (9 June 2021) was to allow Joel to work with me on her training.

Remember to intentionally, on purpose, learn of God each day by prayerfully reading, studying, and pondering upon God's word each day. Talk to God in prayer as your Heavenly Father who would like for you to be His friend. Find out what He would like you to do for Him as His friend and go and do it for Him as His friend. Yes very intentionally, very much on purpose, become the friend of God. And have a blessed day!!
