John 14:6

O Way, O Truth, O Life, a threefold gleam,
That Jesus spoke, to still a troubled dream,
"I am," He said, "the path your feet must tread,
The very truth, where falsehood's power has fled."
No winding maze, no shadowed, doubtful track,
But open road, where weary souls turn back,
To find the Father's house, a bright domain,
Where love and peace, eternal, ever reign.
The truth He spoke, a lamp in darkest night,
Revealing sin, and setting all things right,
No phantom shade, no fleeting, hollow word,
But solid rock, where saving grace is heard.
And Life He breathed, a spring that knows no end,
Where mortal fears, and earthly sorrows bend,
To drink the stream, that washes death away,
And rise in glory, to eternal day.
No other gate, no secret, hidden stair,
But Christ alone, our burden light to bear,
Through Him we come, to find our Father's face,
Embraced by love, and filled with endless grace.
