In this video we scrutinize the claims of the Foundational Black Americans as laid out in their website. Are they foundational to America and what does that mean? Who qualifies as FBA?
What is the meaning behind the various aspects of the FBA flag and their holidays? Where does FBA ancestry begin?

We also dive into the complex dynamics between Foundational Black Americans (FBAs) and the Caribbean and African immigrants they refer to as "tethers". Exploring issues of culture, identity, and historical contributions, I discuss what solidarity, accountability, and mutual respect look like among these Black communities.

The overall discussion is aimed at bridging gaps in understanding between Black Americans and Black immigrants.
