Acts 16:22-34 NIIV
22 The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten with rods. 23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. 24 When he received these orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. 27 The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28 But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”
29 The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
32 Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house. 33 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized. 34 The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole household.
John 3:16 (NIV) - “For God so loved the WORLD that he gave his one and only son that WHOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
But how does that transition take place from where we say He is the Savior of the World to saying He is MY SAVIOR... What must... I... do to be saved.
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Romans 3:23 (NIV).
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.” (Matthew 26:28 (NIV).

‘But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.’ Hebrews 2:9 NIV.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NIV: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
Titus 3:5 NIV: “he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,”.What an amazing reply!
Isaiah 45:22 (NIIV): ““Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”.

Text says nothing about REPENTANCE for sins.
Ac 2:37-38 - “When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Ac 17:30-31 - “In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.”
it doesnot mentions the need to CONFESS Christ.
Mt 10:32-33 KJV- “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.”
And what is not in our text nor is it found anywhere in the Bible…that is what today people call the sinner’s prayer. It is not scriptural. Please hear that very clearly.
BELIEVING
Jn 3:36 NIV -“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.”
BAPTISM IMMEDIATELY…
Ac 8:35-38 - NIV - 35T"hen Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him. 36As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?” 37[And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”] 38And he ordered the chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing. 40But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he kept preaching the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.”

1Pe 3:21 - “and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also…It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ”
…“Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.”Isaiah 45:22 NIV.
“For the LORD will pass through the land to strike down the Egyptians. But when he sees the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe, the LORD will pass over your home. He will not permit his death angel to enter your house and strike you down.”Exodus 12:22-23 NLT.
