Pip, our green iguana clears out her entire bowl in one sitting. I guess that's why she's shedding.

A green iguana’s diet depends on its age, size, and activity level, but in general:

Baby & Juvenile Iguanas (0-3 years)
Eat daily, sometimes multiple times a day.
Offer fresh leafy greens (70-80%), some vegetables (20-30%), and occasional fruit (10% or less).
Expect them to consume 1-2 cups of food per feeding, adjusting based on appetite.

Sub-Adult & Adult Iguanas (3+ years)
Can eat once daily or every other day, depending on size and metabolism.
Still require leafy greens as the primary diet, with some variety of veggies and minimal fruit.
Large iguanas may consume 2-4 cups of food per feeding.

Other Factors Affecting Appetite
Temperature & Lighting: If they aren’t warm enough, they’ll eat less.
Shedding & Brumation: Some iguanas eat less or stop eating temporarily.
Health Issues: Poor diet, dehydration, or parasites can reduce appetite.
