On May 26th 2023 Steven Lee Bryant Williams, an off-duty Police Officer of the Jonesboro Police Department located in Jonesboro, Arkansas was arrested by the Arkansas State Patrol after being called to the scene of a vehicle vs motorcyle accident. State Troopers questioned both Williams (the driver of the vehicle) and the motorcycle driver but saw flaws in the statements that Williams had made based on the evidence at the seen. Williams admitted to drinking a few beers but believed he was at .04, when tested at the side of the road Williams blew a .08 and wss arrested on suspicion of DWI, careless and prohibited driving.

Following his arrest, Williams was fired from the Jonesboro Police Department. He had only been employed with the department for 5 months.

As of January 2024, the result of Steven Lee Bryant Willams court case is unknown.
