Why Does God Allow Bad Things to Happen | Atheists Justified

Many ask the question if goes exists why he allows bad things to happen. This takes away from freedom of choice and power. When given power and choice what do we do with it? What do others do with it? To say heaven is a lie then to say God doesn't exist because he allows suffering is contractive of each other. Would not heaven, freedom from suffering have to exist if you recognize that there is suffering in this world?
