Cortez calls Tommy, asking for urgent help—the French are after him for stealing missile technology, and he needs to flee Vice City. Tommy meets him aboard his yacht, where Cortez explains that leaving by air would be too dangerous. Tommy offers his assistance, and they set sail.

As the yacht departs, French agents attack in boats and helicopters. Tommy and Cortez’s crew fight them off, clearing a roadblock near Prawn Island before taking down an attack chopper. With the threat eliminated, Cortez finally reaches open waters.

Before parting, Cortez gifts Tommy a Speeder as a token of gratitude and asks him to look after Mercedes while he’s away. Tommy agrees, and the two shake hands before Tommy departs.
