Her heart declared what fate would sow,

A songstress bound to troubadour’s strife,
Two children came, her joy swelled high,
Yet clouds crept in beneath the sky.

His shadowed vice soon dimmed her days,
A needle’s pull stole love’s soft rays,
Her trust unraveled, doubts grew tall,
A wall rose up, her spirit’s fall.

Through years she weaved his name in song,
