Steve Buscemi reveals new details about his character in Wednesday season 2. Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Wednesday follows the iconic Addams daughter as she navigates Nevermore Academy while attempting to master her psychic abilities, prevent a killing spree, and solve the mystery that puzzled her parents long ago. Season 2 is currently in production and is set to continue the story with Wednesday's returning cast and new additions, including Buscemi. Specific details of Buscemi’s role remain mostly under wraps, but his character is named Barry Dort, and he will be the new principal of Nevermore Academy.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Buscemi spoke about his experience filming Wednesday season 2, where he worked with Ortega and reunited with director Tim Burton after two decades. Buscemi previously collaborated with Burton on Big Fish (2003) and described working with him again as an exciting return. Additionally, he noted that he enjoyed working with Ortega on the upcoming film Klara and the Sun. Buscemi also discussed the experience of filming Wednesday season 2 in Dublin, Ireland.
