Zechariah 12:10 makes it clear—Jesus is the Messiah. It says people will look at the one they pierced and mourn like they lost an only son. This happened exactly when Jesus was crucified. His side was pierced, just like Zechariah said it would be.

John 19:37 confirms this. John saw Jesus die and said it fulfilled Zechariah’s prophecy. There’s no doubt—Jesus is the one God promised.

Zechariah 13:7 goes further, calling the Messiah both a shepherd and equal to God. This proves Jesus is not just a man—He is God in the flesh.

The Old Testament told this truth hundreds of years before Jesus came, and it all happened just as written. No one else in history fits this prophecy, only Jesus.
