Lama Dawa's Commentary:
Tenzin Palmo is a contemporary Tibetan Buddhist nun, actually born in England, who took vows and has done many, many years of solitary retreat.

She is a widely respected teacher and author.

Tenzin Palmo understands that this is not a path of taking ourselves so seriously, even though Buddhism talks about a path of suffering and overcoming suffering and achieving an awakening.

There is a light-hearted approach to her teachings, and many, if not most, all Buddhist teachers and in other traditions seem to have a very beautiful, open, light heart with lots of humor.

We don't have to take ourselves so seriously.

True wisdom is seeing that everything is OK, everything is as it is.

And when we take a more spacious approach, a more forgiving approach, a more understanding approach, we can indeed just lighten up.

It seems to be very inspiring to ourselves and to others.
