The strength profile of your back is very strong from the bottom through mid range up to the last 5 inches of the rep or so. Which means, you don't want to be limited by that last 5 inches. The Landmine fits that profile really well because as the bar ascends it gets lighter (gravity, angles, physics and stuff). Chest supported landmines are even better since you're not limited by your low back holding the weight.
