The Evidence for Jesus Christ and the Miracles in the Bible

In today's world, many skeptics question the existence of miracles, the historical figure of Jesus Christ, and the veracity of the Bible. One such challenge was posed in a comment on a video I posted titled “Miracles Point to the Master.” The commenter dismissed miracles, denied the historical existence of Jesus, and outright rejected the concept of God as depicted in the Bible. These doubts are not uncommon, and they deserve a thoughtful response that demonstrates the credibility of Jesus' life, His miracles, and the resurrection—the cornerstone of the Christian faith.
The first claim made by the commenter is that “there is no such thing as miracles.” Miracles, by their very definition, are events that defy natural explanations. The skeptics claim that these events do not occur in the modern world, or if they do, they are simply misinterpreted natural occurrences. However, this is an oversimplification of the matter. While some may dismiss modern reports of miracles, it is undeniable that historically significant miracles are attested by eyewitnesses and supported by substantial documentation. In particular, the miracles of Jesus Christ—those recorded in the New Testament—stand as a significant piece of verifiable evidence for those who approach the subject with an open mind.
