President Trump: "Nobody is expelling any Palestinians"

Voice of America Reporter: "What about the president's plan to expel Palestinians from Gaza? Are you discussing that with him and giving your...?"

President Trump: "No one is expelling any Palestinians. Who are you with?"

Reporter: "I’m with Voice of America, sir."

President Trump: "Ah, that makes sense. OK, Voice of..."

President Trump met with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin, where a reporter asked him about his "plan" to expel Palestinians from Gaza. President Trump quickly responded, clarifying that there is no such plan to expel anyone from Gaza.

He then asked the journalist which media outlet she was from, and when she replied that she was from Voice of America, President Trump responded by saying that he was not surprised.

President Trump: The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it, too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous, unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out, create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area. Do a real job, do something different. Just can’t go back. If you, it’s going to end up the same way it has for 100 years.
