This is radical feminism

In the recent violent protests held on March 8th to commemorate International Women's Day in Mexico by radical feminists, an irrational slogan stood out, where feminists with evident overweight accuse the "patriarchy" of applying violence by promoting diets to lose weight. In Mexico, the combined prevalence of overweight and obesity in adults (20 years or older) is approximately 75.2%. This means that 7 out of 10 Mexicans suffer from these conditions.

The National Health and Nutrition Survey (ENSANUT) reveals that 75.2% of women over 20 years old are overweight. Overweight increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, osteomuscular conditions such as osteoarthritis, and certain types of cancer like endometrial, breast, ovarian, prostate, liver, gallbladder, kidney, colon, esophageal, gastric, rectal, pancreatic, and renal cancer. The impact that overweight has on people's quality of life is evident, as it causes fatigue, excessive sweating, difficulty performing physical activities, and low self-esteem.

How can a method to lose weight and improve one's lifestyle be violent? What does the "patriarchy" have to do with diets?
