Rich & Creamy Cheesecake sitting atop a Brownie crust. Use any brownie recipe, including a box mix.
A versatile dessert because the squares can be topped with anything! For added Chocolate flavor, stir in a cup of mini chocolate chips!!!
CHEESECAKE INGREDIENTS
4 8-Ounce Packages (904 gr) Cream Cheese, softened
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
3 Large Eggs
DIRECTIONS
Prepare a 9x13 pan by lining with parchment and greasing.
Bake the Brownie* at 350F degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
Prepare the Cheesecake:
Using electric mixer, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla on low speed until well combined.
Add the Sour Cream and beat again until well combined.
Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition, until just blended.
Pour cheesecake mixture on top of brownie.
Bake at 350F degrees for an additional 40 minutes.
Cool completely.
Refrigerate for 4 hours.
Drizzle chocolate, if desired, and let set up for 15 minutes. Cut into squares.
Squares can be frozen (undecorated) for up to a month. Wrap individually in Cling Wrap and then wrap in Foil to freeze. Bring out of freezer and put in refrigerator to thaw. Drizzle with chocolate or
garnish with Fruit or Chopped Peppermint, if desired.
*Can also use any cookie crust you like instead of Brownie Crust
