I KEEP SINNING WITH THE SAME SIN

Dear Pastor Bob: Some say that if we willfully commit the same sin over and over and over again, that we lose our Salvation and eternal inheritance.  They often cite Hebrews 10:26 to support this claim. Is this the proper understanding of this passage? These people will ask, what is the point of repenting if we keep committing the same sins? They argue that to repent means to stop sinning or else we did not truly repent. They also mention that Jesus said to go and sin no more. Do you have any thoughts on this?
