Trump has made the (completely outrageous and despicable) declaration that, unless Hamas releases the hostages, they will be "dead", demonstrating (beyond a reasonable doubt) that he is "all in" on Bibi's plan to "kill them all".
It is bitter for me to admit that we have "Genocide Don" to replace our "Genocide Joe", where this guy appears to be even more committed to ethnic cleansing than the other guy.
According to Witkoff, Trump did not like what Hamas had to say to his representatives, which was (no doubt) that they were prepared to defend Palestine, no matter what the cost.
But, in the meanwhile, the Arab states have endorsed the Egyptian plan for reconstructing Gaza in three stages: a six-month interim stage, during which 200,000 temporary houses would be build (at a cost of $3 billion); a 4-5 year reconstruction period building 400,000 permanent homes (at a cost of $20 billion) and, finally, the governance phase consolidating the reconstruction (at a cost of $30 billion more), which does not require the Palestinians to leave their land.
Kevin Barrett observes we are in "the showdown" stage of the America Firsters vs. the Israeli Firsters, which, alas, as far as I can tell, the leading American appears to side more with Israel than he does with America.
Vernon Coleman thinks WWIII is now inevitable; and RFK Jr. has launched a war against "anti-Semitism", which is designed to protect Israel from criticism--even for mass murder/genocide!
We are in quite a predicament, where it is not obvious yet how all this will turn out....!?!
