What Does the Bible Say About Trauma?

When you think of trauma and you think of the Bible, they are often explored in separate worlds. But traumatic experiences are written about all throughout both the Old and New Testament. Trauma has impacted humanity since the beginning of time and the Bible shows us its impact, where just about every form of trauma is in the Scriptures. Observing the stories of these traumatic experiences in Scripture reveals a lot of how we react to trauma and how those experiences can have negative effects on thinking, feeling and behaving. In this broadcast, I want to explore trauma in the Scriptures and help us gain healing perspectives we can gain from God’s Word.
