Chastisement is not Punishment for Sin

We develop wrong impressions about Bible doctrines, by our own lack of reading, and studying of the Word of God. We are bound by traditions, wrong teaching, and by our own unbelief that is generated by whatever hidden sins. John 3: 19-21. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
First of all, we need to understand Chastening: Who it is for, and What it is for, and Who it is from. {1} Chastening is for His children, believers. {2} It is not for punishment It is for our learning. And it means: Training, correction, instruction, nurture … Just think of nurture = to help, to grow, to develop … to take care of someone. {3} It is from the LORD, 12:5, And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
