Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers

Joe Allen, chair of missions and evangelism at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, shares the story of his children's book series, "Big Thoughts for Little Thinkers," which began 20 years ago in 2005 as a creative project during his theological studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. Encouraged by his professors, Joe pitched his first book, "The Trinity," eventually securing a deal with New Leaf Press for a four-book series that has since sold over a quarter million copies in three languages. With the 20th anniversary approaching in 2025, Allen has written three new books—on Jesus, the Church, and Heaven—set for release in June, featuring forewords by notable figures like Dr. Fred Sanders, President Jason Allen, and Randy Alcorn.
