Sumaya Ayad of The Dali Museum, in St. Petersburg, FL, takes us on a tour of the fascinating, outrageous life and art of Salvador Dalí.
Through the lens of The Dalí Museum Collection, Sumaya traces Dalí’s evolution from his rural beginnings, to his becoming an outspoken student, to conquering the art world as a member of the Surrealist group, to reinventing himself as a “nuclear mystical” artist after World War II.
Examining numerous works of art, Sumaya shares stories from Dalí’s remarkable life to show how he shaped his world of dreams and created mind-bending illusions.
