Tommy visits Juan Cortez aboard his yacht, where Cortez assures him that he’s still investigating the failed drug deal. In the meantime, he asks Tommy for a favor—retrieving valuable technology from a courier at the Washington Mall.

At the mall, the exchange takes an unexpected turn when French special forces ambush the deal, declaring the technology as government property. The courier, Pierre La Ponce, panics and makes a run for it on a PCJ 600 motorcycle.

Tommy gives chase through the streets of Vice City, dodging gunfire and insults from the fleeing courier. After a high-speed pursuit, Tommy takes him down, retrieves the guidance chips, and returns to Cortez, all while being pursued by the police.
