The Christian doctrine of the Trinity (from the Latin trinus, meaning "threefold") professes that there is one God, but three eternal and consubstantial persons (aspects): the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is the God of Israel (the creator God of Genesis), the Son is the historical Jesus of Nazareth, and the Holy Spirit is the presence or spirit of God that binds them together. The word 'trinity' appears nowhere in the Bible; the concept was finalized at the First Council of Nicaea in 325 CE after years of debate. It was an attempt to articulate Christianity’s belief in the oneness of God....https://www.worldhistory.org/Trinity/ Instead of going to the Scriptures to define God, men attempted to explain him outside of them, this led to confusion and every evil work in Catholicism. As well as in other churches who accepted this manmade teaching from Platonic thought. It took several centuries to finally nail down as a false teaching and hybrid of paganism and Christianity. Who do you believe? God who said that he is one some fifty times. Or mankind, who say that he's a triad in unity (trinity) and not found in God's word?
