Why the EU wants war

Alistair Crooke makes the point that the EU has become politicized. Not only at the EU level, but internationally. We have an international conflict between the left and right wing politicians in the EU and the US respectively.

The current left wing socialist EU parliament is having problems economically. EU unity is weak. Economic and right wing political pressure on EU governance is likely to cause the EU to fragment. The US involvement in the EU has led to a simple means of stabilising intra EU politics, but now that the US has under Trump become politically involved in strengthening opponents to the left wing "open society" socialist philosophy, the US becomes a threat to EU 'managed' socialist democracy. However, the EU also involved itself in the US election campaign.

Merz is seeking military industrialisation of the EU, in particular Germany, for political and economic purposes. Fear mongering (i.e. selling fear to the EU public) is useful to persuade the public to allow him to set up industrial military manufacturing which may help the German economy, and the EU form of managed socialist democracy.
