Congressman Nick Begich (R-AK) announces the new "Bitcoin Act" that he is putting forth in the U.S. House of Representatives which would direct the Federal Reserve to acquire 1 million BTC and hold it for at least 20 years, at no additional cost to the Taxpayer (savings from DOGE slashing Federal Agencies/Programs/Employees and ending Foreign Aid may be used). This announcement marks a significant step in Congressional progress on the Bitcoin Strategic Reserve and associated Bitcoin lawmaking, mirroring a bill proposed by Sen. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) in the U.S. Senate.
