This monkey slaps the squirrel and snatches its bread. This lion-tailed macaque is after the world's largest tree fruit, but this fruit can only be eaten when it's ripe. However, distinguishing between an unripe and a ripe fruit is very difficult. Fortunately, hardworking giant squirrels can identify a ripe jackfruit just by its smell. All the monkeys need to do is follow them and, just as the squirrel is about to reap the rewards of its effort, they send it home with a couple of slaps and start their feast. If the hefty squirrel doesn't care about the slaps, the monkey slaps the fruit instead, knocking it to the ground, and comfortably continues its feast on the ground because squirrels don't come down.
