Canada has chosen to increase energy prices for US states instead of agreeing to President Trump’s demands to secure the border. President Trump has responded with raising his tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum from 25% to 50%. President Trump has stated that he won’t back down and is ready to declare a national emergency if needed for northern states’ energy needs.
