Exodus 6:2-4 "...YAH spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am YAH: and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the Name of Creator Almighty, but by My Name YAH was I not known to them. And I have also established My covenant with them..." Prior to YAH revealing His Name to Moses, the Israelites did not know His Name was YAH, but it's presented in this video as if they did simply because we know His Name now. The extended version of this video begins with Joseph and the first 70 Israelites joining him in Egypt. While Joseph's identity in ancient Egyptian history is highly debated, there are striking similarities between he and Imhotep, the vizier of Pharaoh Netjerikhet/Djoser of the 3rd dynasty. According to the Famine Stele, Imhotep saved Egypt from a seven-year famine, which is a feat credited to Joseph (Genesis 41:37-57 and Genesis 47:13-27). The Famine Stele also states that Imhotep designed the first pyramid: the Djoser/Step Pyramid, which has a large vertical shaft under it and the complex contains many similar structures that seem to have been used to store grain (hence the connection to Joseph;) it is stated in Genesis 41:46-57, that Joseph gathered and stored vast amounts of grain during the seven years of plenty in Egypt and opened those storehouses to the people of the land during the years of famine. This had never been done before and there are massive underground silos that can be found in many cities of Egypt dating back to the 3rd dynasty. The aforementioned Step Pyramid complex of Djoser contains a dozen such shafts that appear to be grain storage bins accessible via tunnels connected to the bottom of the pits and linking to a central open stairwell. It is also important to note that Imhotep's tomb was found not far from the Step Pyramid in Saqqara connected to the Ibis Galleries. It contained a coffin that was orientated towards the North suggesting that he did not worship Re, the god of the Egyptians. His coffin however was empty; there was no mummy inside. Before his death, "Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying, YAH will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from hence. So Joseph died, being an hundred and ten years old: and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt." The absence of Imhotep's mummy in his tomb further supports the possibility that he and Joseph were the same person, which would mean the Israelites took his body with them during the First Exodus as per his request and as recorded in Exodus 13:19 "...Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, YAH will surely visit you; and you shall carry up my bones away hence with you." Thus, "the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph." (Joshua 24:32) Is it an absolute fact that Joseph and Imhotep were the same person? No. But are there strong similarities between the profile of Joseph and Imhotep? Yes. Joseph and the Israelites that would later be enslaved during the 12th and 13th dynasties played a key role in the prosperity of ancient Egypt. Even unto this very day, the enslaved/talented Israelites continue to play a key role in the prosperity of all the lands where they were scattered during the Arab Slave Trade, Transatlantic Slave Trade, et cetera. Deuteronomy 28:30-34 "...you (Israel) shall build an house, and you shall not dwell therein: you shall plant a vineyard, and shall not gather the grapes thereof. Your ox shall be slain before your eyes, and you shall not eat thereof: your donkey shall be violently taken away from before your face, and shall not be restored to you: your sheep shall be given unto your enemies, and you shall have none to rescue them. Your sons and your daughters shall be given unto another people, and your eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in your hand. The fruit of your land, AND ALL YOUR LABOURS, shall a nation which you know (knew) not eat up; and you shall be only oppressed and crushed alway: so that you shall be mad for the sight of your eyes which you shall see." Deuteronomy 28:30-34 explains to Israel that when the curses of the covenant are upon them, EVERYTHING that's theirs (even their children) will be taken from them and EVERYTHING they labor for will be consumed by their enemies. In Isaiah 65:18-24, we see YAH reversing these curses, reassuring the Israelites/black slave descendants that in the days to come, when His blessings are upon them, "they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat:" Such injustices are injustices that the Israelites/black slave descendants know all too well and have known all too well even for thousands of years now, but our curses will soon be lifted from upon us and placed upon our enemies instead (Deuteronomy 30:2-7 and Isaiah 51:22-23).
