Our adventure began with a scenic ADO bus ride from Playa del Carmen to Valladolid, showcasing the comfort and ease of Mexico’s premier bus system. With reclining seats, air conditioning, and onboard entertainment, the journey was as enjoyable as the destination!

🌟 Where We Stayed:

Villa La Pausa: A luxurious villa blending historical charm with modern elegance. With three master suites, a gorgeous kitchen, and tranquil gardens, it was the perfect base for our Valladolid escape.
🌮 What We Ate:

Restaurante El Mesón del Marqués: A colonial gem offering a mix of traditional Yucatecan dishes like Sikil Pak and Cochinita Tacos, alongside international favorites like Laura’s Pesto Pasta.
Panadería El Ángel de Oro: A must-visit local bakery serving delicious traditional Mexican breads and pastries, just steps from Valladolid’s main square.
🏛 What We Did:

Chichén Itzá: One of the New Seven Wonders of the World! We explored the iconic El Castillo pyramid, the Ball Court, and the site’s rich history and cultural significance.
🚍 Heading Back:
Our journey ended with a seamless ADO bus ride back to Playa del Carmen, reflecting on an incredible 24 hours filled with unforgettable sights, tastes, and experiences.
