British Steel is the 6th studio album by English heavy metal band Judas Priest, released on 11 April 1980 by CBS Records, and on May 1980, by Columbia Records. It was the band's 1st album to feature Dave Holland on drums. The album was their 1st gold album in the US selling more than 500,000 copies and eventually went platinum for selling at least 1 million.
